VOLUNTEERS

Our volunteers are valuable assets of Grover Museum.

A sampling of many areas where they help includes: greeting visitors, leading tours,
serving refreshments, set-up & tear-down of exhibits, preparation for annual & special events,
gift shop, kitchen set-up & clean-up, accession of artifacts, and greeter at the Thomas A.
Hendricks cabin at the Shelby County Fairgrounds.

MEMBERS

Shelby County Historical Society has an active group helping to preserve Shelby county history. Members enjoy a variety of events such as Spring & Fall Dinner Meetings, German Dinner, & Quilt Show Luncheon, and Heritage Arts Classes. Members receive a quarterly newsletter and membership discounts for many of events.

If you have a love of Shelby County history, become a Historical Society member today! Annual memberships are available as Single-$20; Family-$30; Sustaining-$40; Corporate-$200. Lifetime membership is $500.

 

MEETING ROOM

Grover Museum has a large meeting room with many amenities for family, community, and business functions. We have very nice business and kitchen amenities that can be tailored to your event. Tell us what your event is and we will help you with finessing the details. Our central location, coupled with our building's rich heritage and a very reasonable room rental rate make the room ideal for many occasions.

QUILT GUILD

Sponsored by Shelby County Historical Society, the Bear Paw

Quilters Guild meets the fourth Wednesday of the month.

 

If you are a quilter, want to be a quilter, or are just interested in

quilting, you are invited to join the guild.
